Characteristics

Condensation type silicone generates a by-product of Acetic acid, Oxime, Alcohol at the time of curing. On the other hand, Addition type silicone doesn't generate any by-product after reaction..
As the addition type has a following unique character, it's not quite easy to adhere to some substance but it's widely used for electric-electronic and many other industry.

1. Adjustable Curing Speed
   Curing speed can be adjusted by changing hardener type or the amount, adding reaction inhibitor, or heating.
2. Deep Section Cur
   Uniform curing on surface and deep section, regardless of the thickness of rubber, Suitable for sealing the parts requiring fast curing.
3. No Corrosion on Metal
   It has no by-product decaying metal, Suitable for sealing the parts which contact with metal.
4. Storing Stability
   For multi-component addition type, main material and hardener is packed in other containers separately.
   Curing is proceeded by reaction of the two components. Thus, there is no possibility of change in the quality during the storing.
5. No By-product
   Addtion silicon sealant has no by-product, while Condensation silicon sealant has by-products such as acetic acid, oxime, and alcohol.
