Characteristics

Liquid silicone rubber of condensation type are divided into 1 component type and multi-component type which are named the RTV (Room Temperature Vulcanizing) as either one can be cured at room temperature. At the time of exposure in the air, gum elastic can be made progressing by crosslinking reaction with moisture.

Depending upon crosslinking type, silicone's type could be divided into and residual things come into exist with odd smell. For representative, there are type of Acetic acid , Oxime , Alcoholic , Amin , Amin-Oxime and Amide.

1. Simple Use
   Work can be done by only extruding sealant from the container such as tube or cartridge without any devices such as a mixer or others. At room temperature, it cures to form rubber ... state with the humidity in the air without heating or any other special condition.
2. Excellent Adhesion
   Excellent adhesion can be obtained to almost all materials without primer.
3. Heatproof/Coldproof
   After complete hardening, the adhesion and rubber elasticity can be kept for all continuous exposure in the range of -50°C∼200°C.
4. Excellent Electric Characteristics
   In chemical structure, it shows excellent insulation. It keeps stable electricity even in the change of temperature, humidity, or environment, Suitable for insulation or sealing for various electric and electronic appliances.
5. Chemical stability
   Silicon sealant show execellent chemical resistance and oil resistance in comparison with general organic rubber. When it contacts with certain engine oil, it may swell a little but, it is not decomposed nor dissolved, It returns initial state when the solvent is removed.
6. Excellent Weatherproof
   It shows excellent ultraviolet resistance. ozone resistance, and water resistance, which allows to keep original properties semi-permanently at outside use.
